This is a not so well-known map but is one of my favorites for pistol duels and is a hidden gem and deserves more exposure. It is a simple open map with a few pillars that you can use to peek from and to take cover. This map has a current subscriber count of 11,984 on the Steam Workshop.
Another map that is not well known but deserves to be known is the aim_aim_aim map. It is simplistic with peeking holes, boxes, and is the perfect 1v1 map for low budget gamers as it is optimized to keep your FPS steady. I would consider this map to be another hidden gem that deserves some more exposure. It has a current subscriber count of 48,256 on the Steam Workshop.
What better way to end this list with a 1v1 map dedicated to the well-known block game Minecraft. It is a map that has ladders to get to raised platforms that surround the map, a water stream in the middle to make it harder to get ambushed, and obstacles of different heights that can be used to jiggle peek from. This map is commonly used on 1v1 community servers and has 52,254 current subscribers on the Steam Workshop.
Make sure you check out those maps to get better in any 1v1 situation with this list of the 12 best 1v1 maps. Remember if you want to improve your game check out the Get Out Of Silver Rank Video Course, where you will learn many more skills that are useful throughout the entire game. Game On!
Here we have a basic training map set with basic obstacles and running bots to provide solid training and a great way to warm up before a competitive match. Although this map is a few years old, it still holds up today as a solid area to train in today. Because of being relatively simple, it does lack a few customizability options such as increasing bot speed and having them perform more realistic movements.
Here we have the only textured map version of Bot Aim V5D on this list. Good for relaxing the eyes and warming up before a game. This map also features all the goodies that come with the other higher-rated versions such as infinite ammo, setting bots with returning fire, and placing obstacles.
Aim Course is a great map to test and benchmark your skills. A staple in the CSGO community for years, this map has stood the test of time for years. Excellent training for AWPers including other guns as well.
A map that continues to get updates, it has also stood the test of time and offers nearly complete customization. An overall versatile and powerful map for training your aim with a variety of weapons. With over 70,000+ 5-star ratings and frequent updates, it continues to be a relevant map for training competitively.
Here we have the holy grail of training maps. With over 150,000+ ratings, this map is the number one training map of all time and for good reason. With the ability to customize nearly everything, there is no need to look any further.
PI Orientation: We offer New PI Orientation to incoming PIs and the staff members that will be assisting them with the protocol in Animal Oversight. This meeting should take les than 1 hour and will cover the basics of working with Animal Oversight and the IACUC. Unless otherwise arranged, training will be remote. We recommend viewing the eSirius videos prior to setting up an orientation session - email us when you would like to schedule.
The AWP expects all PIs to be familiar with the information found on this website, including guidances, requirements for performing animal work, how to use Cayuse Animal Oversight, requirements for training and documentation, and, if applicable, establishing a peripheral PI lab and the safety requirements for doing so.
Drugs: The IACUC is concerned with the storage, grade, and expiration date of clinical drugs (e.g. isoflurane, ketamine, xylazine, ophthalmic ointment, and surgical glue). These types of drugs should be pharmaceutical grade and not expired. A description of pharmaceutical grade for IACUC purposes is found in IACUC Guidance 210 (I-IC-GU-210 Use of Drugs and Compounds in Animal Studies).
Ketamine and ketamine cocktails should be stored as for controlled substances. The IACUC does not inspect the DEA paperwork associated with controlled substances, but we are required to ensure they are stored appropriately. Anesthetic cocktails must be stored and labeled as described in IACUC guidance 210. For more information on controlled substances, contact Research Laboratory & Safety Services (RLSS).
Loss Compensation: In the event of loss of animals due to infectious disease or equipment failure as described in the Animal Loss Insurance Program, complete an Application for Compensation for Animal Loss with University Animal Care (UAC).
The Principal Investigator must notify the AWP Office or inspectors immediately if the proposed time and/or date is unsuitable or if the location is no longer in use. Please note that the IACUC inspectors have limited time available for the inspection. If at all possible, the PI is asked to delegate senior laboratory personnel with good knowledge of the animal protocols to be present during the inspection, rather than request that the inspection be rescheduled.
Do not worry about planning procedures to avoid happening during inspections - inspectors are interested in seeing the lab \"in action,\" and seeing the procedures done in real-time. Seeing the procedure helps give a better picture of the effectiveness of lab SOPs and training.
Lab personnel must meet minimum training requirements to be included on an IACUC protocol, and must be trained by qualified personnel on lab-specific procedures, animal handling, lab safety, and other topics as required. Training and/or qualifications must be documented by the lab, and documents must be kept for 3 years after the end of the study.
Ideally, personnel will have completed applicable procedures on the Certification of Competency Form and then proceed to the Surgical Training Form. The UABOX excel sheet should be updated after the completion of training. and the lab should have access to training records.NOTE: Not all procedures listed on the forms will be on your protocol. Make sure that you are only performing/ training procedures that are already on your approved protocol. If you would like to add a new procedure from the list, be sure to amend your protocol prior to starting the procedure.
An MOU is usually required if the University of Arizona is the prime awardee on a grant, and is sending a portion of the grant to another institution (\"sub-awardee\") to fund work done at that institution. The prime awardee on NIH/PHS, HHS, NSF, and/or NASA funded grants is ultimately responsible for ensuring that all animal work done with grant funds is approved by an IACUC, whether at The UArizona or another institution, and an MOU is how we confirm compliance.
An IIA is a document that allows outside entities who receive federal funding, but do not have their own animal work capabilities, to contract with The University of Arizona to perform animal work on their behalf, using The UArizona PHS assurance and UArizona facilities and PIs.
Being an AWPer isn't an easy task. You will need to be agile, accurate and need to have fast reaction times. You need to be able to play both passive and heavily aggressive in situations that require you to. AWP requires you to constantly keep yourself at a very high level of focus. As an AWPer, missing is a big deal, but knowing how to deal with a miss is very important. This is why you need to be agile and have great map knowledge to know where to fall back to.
You have responsibilities as an AWPer, and one of them being is to always get the first pick to provide the team with control over a certain part of the map, or to open up a bombsite, like an entry fragger. Entry fraggers and AWPers are seen as two different roles, but you can be both an entry fragger and an AWPer. Though, your primary focus is to be smart about your economy, protecting the bomb from far away, and using your current location, or spawn point to have an advantage over the enemy, providing your teammate with a massive tactical boost early round. AWPers do not go for headshots but bodyshots, as risking a headshot with the AWP is unnecessary as it one hit kills on a bodyshot.
The AWP is a $4750 weapon and requires 47 kills to make the money back from rewards, so it is a very high risk weapon in terms of money spent. Against terrorists, you can use a strategy called \"Glass Cannon\" meaning you will not be buying any armor against AK47s. This does mean you will get some aim punch if you aren't able to hit your shot and potentially dying in a couple of shots from any weapon, making you vulnerable even against glocks. Using a Glass Cannon strategy as a Terrorist is not recommended as most CT weapons do not one shot one kill on a headshot with full armor.
Positioning with the AWP is very important against any sort of danger you might face during a game. If you can't get your positioning right, then you are going to have a hard time trading kills, getting kills and even running away in the case of a missed shot. Positioning can be combined with utility as they can be used to get you out of positions or to get you in new ones, where you might be able to get new picks or just a safer spot to hold and position yourself in general.
The biggest training in terms of your AWP holds and flicks will be on this website called Playmaster. It is fairly new and still is in beta. It gives challenges depending upon your skill level in which the website will test. This map is an all rounder map, so you can train every skill but you should mostly focus on the flicks, holds and movement if you want to train your AWP skills. Once you have done your flick and hold training, you can hop into the warmup section on Playmaster as it has a very nice and clean warmup area for you to try your skills. 59ce067264
